What will you do
Reporting to the Associate Director Advisory Group, the Environmental & Social Specialist is responsible to provide support in social and environmental projects and to ensure that projects are implemented a sustainable manner, as well as to ensure the implementation of the following:
Supervise and lead field teams.
Prepare technical and financial proposals.
Prepare social studies, resettlement plans, compensation plan and livelihood recovery.
Evaluate Environmental and Social Impact.
Elaborate Reports.
Prepare and implement qualitative and quantitative social methodologies.
Conduct stakeholder identification & manage processes.
Perform environmental and social impact assessments and do feasibility studies.
Perform public consultations.
Perform audits, due diligence in projects related to infrastructure, energy, maritime and costal sectors.
Execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods in the environmental and social field, in accordance with the national and international recognized standards.
Coordinate environmental studies & evaluate impact.
Coordinating resettlement processes, including the measurement of tangible and intangible losses.
